Al Thika Packaging at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026

Gulfood Manufacturing returns to Dubai World Trade Centre from 3 to 5 November 2026, and it remains the most practical week of the year for food and beverage producers across the UAE and the wider Gulf to see packaging machinery running rather than read about it in a brochure. Al Thika Packaging will be exhibiting on Stand C1-18 in Hall 1, in the processing and packaging section of the show.

Multiple machines will be on the stand this year, covering packaging, coding and marking, product inspection, adhesive application and material handling. Al Thika Packaging has supplied and serviced this class of equipment across the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain since 1994, as the authorised distributor for the European manufacturers behind it. The stand is set up for technical conversations: bring a product sample, a line layout, a throughput target or an audit finding, and the team can talk through what the equipment will actually do on your floor.

What is on Stand C1-18 at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026

A range of machines will be on display, each demonstrated individually rather than connected as a running line. They are grouped below by function, so the right machine for a specific application is easy to find.

Packaging machines

Shrink Wrapping Machine

The Smipack FP6000 shrink wrapping machine with T450 shrink tunnel is an automatic unit combining an in-feed sealer and shrink tunnel, bundling packs into multipacks and retail-ready formats. This is the machine to see for producers still hand-wrapping or bundling with tape.

Flow Wrapper

The Gamaco Phantom 90 flow wrapper handles horizontal flow wrapping for bakery, confectionery, snacks and portioned products, for producers moving from manual packing to a continuous wrapping format.

Tray Stretch Wrapper

The Fabbri Elexa 24 stretch wrapper applies automatic stretch film wrapping for fresh meat, poultry, fish, produce and ready meals on trays, where film clarity and seal quality directly affect how the pack presents on a retail shelf.

Banding Machine

The ATS US 2500 applies ultrasonic banding for multipacks, promotional bundles and tamper-evident closure, without adhesive tape or shrink film. Increasingly specified by producers reducing plastic in secondary packaging.

Net Clipper

The Giro GH 20 net clipper automates net clipping for fruit, vegetables, citrus and other fresh produce packed in netting, a format in steady demand across UAE produce packers and re-export operations.

Product inspection systems

Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection machines will be on display, covering the checks most often raised during HACCP, BRCGS and IFS audits, alongside a checkweigher from TopControl.

X-Ray Inspection System

The Mettler-Toledo X12 detects metal, glass, stone, dense plastic and bone in packed and unpacked product, including checks X-ray can perform that metal detection cannot.

Metal Detector

The Mettler-Toledo M56R provides in-line metal detection for foreign body control across wet, dry and packed product streams.

Checkweigher

Two checkweighing options will be on display side by side: the Mettler-Toledo C33 and the TopControl CWT 1000, both offering in-line weight verification for giveaway control and legal weight compliance, which typically pays back faster than any other inspection machine on a filled-weight line. Visitors can compare both builds directly on the stand.

Coding, marking and code verification

Markem-Imaje systems will be demonstrated, covering the full path from applying a code to proving it is readable.

Thermal Transfer Overprinter

Two Markem-Imaje thermal transfer overprinters will be running: the X65 for high-resolution date, batch and barcode printing onto flexible film at production speed, and the X45, the compact option in the same range, for lower-speed lines and tighter machine footprints.

Laser Coder

The Markem-Imaje SmartLase C340 applies permanent, consumable-free coding onto cartons, labels, films and rigid packs, with no ink or solvent cost.

Code Verification System

The Markem-Imaje Detect Plus with GS1 verification automatically checks that the printed code is present, correct and readable to GS1 standards. This is the item worth a stop for anyone supplying retailers or export markets that reject non-compliant barcodes at goods-in.

Adhesive application

Hot Melt Adhesive System

Bostik adhesives run through the Nordson ProBlue hot melt system, applying hot melt adhesive for carton sealing, case erecting and end-of-line closure. Adhesive performance is one of the most common causes of case failure in Gulf summer transport conditions, and it is a worthwhile conversation on stand.

Material handling

Stainless Steel Pallet Truck

The ULMA Inox Inoxtruck MPT 15 is a full stainless pallet truck built for washdown environments in meat, poultry, fish, dairy and ready meal production, where painted steel equipment corrodes and becomes a hygiene risk.

Pallet Stretch Wrapper

The Robopac Masterplat PGS 2.2 is a turntable pallet wrapper with powered pre-stretch, offering a direct route to cutting stretch film consumption per pallet while improving load stability for export shipments.
