Frequently Asked Questions About Robopac Robot S7 Stop & Go Pallet Wrapper
The Robot S7 Stop & Go is an advanced version of the standard S7 mobile wrapper. While it still drives itself around the pallet, its standout feature is a patented laser scanning system that allows the machine to work safely in busy areas without physical barriers or constant supervision.
Unlike the standard S7, which uses a physical bumper to stop upon impact, the Stop & Go version uses a laser scanner. It creates a “safety zone” around itself. If a person or forklift enters this zone, the robot stops instantly before making contact.
It is typically paired with Lithium batteries, which allow for “opportunity charging.” You can plug it in for 30 minutes during a lunch break to top it up, and it can wrap over 300 pallets on a full charge.
No. Since the pallet stays on the floor and the robot moves around it, there is no weight limit. It can wrap a 500 kg pallet or a 5,000 kg piece of machinery with the same ease.
Yes. Because it isn’t restricted by a turntable’s diameter, it can wrap loads of any length or width. It is ideal for everything from standard boxes to extra-long crates and round drums.
The standard mast wraps up to 2,200 mm high, but it can be customized with taller masts to wrap oversized loads reaching up to 3,100 mm.
The load generally needs to be at least 600 mm x 600 mm. This ensures the robot’s guidance wheel (or laser) has enough surface area to follow the product’s perimeter accurately.
You can purchase the Robot S7 through Al Thika Packaging, the authorized Robopac partner located in Dubai. They provide local sales, on-site operator training, and stocked spare parts to support your warehouse operations across the Middle East.
