Al Thika Packaging LLC, a Dubai-based company with 25 years’ Middle East regional experience in the packaging machinery and product inspection industry is expanding into Saudi Arabia.
We are now looking for a qualified Service Manager, to be based in Riyadh.
Well known as the industry leader in the region, you will be joining a team to further develop our stronghold in this market. You will be responsible for growing and managing our service and spares business, including installing and maintaining our bespoke machinery solutions with a value of EUR 100 – 150k each, to the food manufacturing and product inspection industry. In addition, you will support our sales growth by assisting our sales team and dedicated project managers.
This is a “hands on” role and the right candidate will have a proven history of field service engineering work, preferably for similar packaging and product inspection machinery. You will service engineering knowledge to carry out fault finding and carry out preventative and corrective maintenance. You will also be confident in communications with both customers and suppliers and will need to be self-motivated and able to work in a remote autonomous environment. You must have excellent spoken and written English with knowledge of Arabic a significant advantage.
We offer an excellent salary, negotiable based on your level of experience, a housing allowance and a fully expensed company car. We also offer premium healthcare benefits and, if not a Saudi national, one return trip per year to your home country. We will pay for reasonable relocation expenses and the necessary visas and documents to relocate to Saudi Arabia. We will also require you to travel occasionally to European manufacturers, so candidates must qualify for EU and UK visit visas. This post has single status only.
