PAPERplus® Classic
paper padding:
In-The-Box applications
PAPERplus® Classic is used for products in higher weight categories. The thick, multi-ply paper produces a pad suitable for cushioning products weighing up to several kilograms. PAPERplus® Classic is tear resistant and the paper pads can be easily shaped, making PAPERplus® suitable for a variety of packing techniques. The PAPERplus® pads provide the strength and durability to stabilise heavy objects and provide the bulk needed for superior cushioning and void fill.
The protective function of the PAPERplus® Classic paper padding is CUSHION.
Cushioning protection is achieved in the example above using two coiled paper pads. First, one of the rolled-up paper pads is placed in the empty box, and the packaged goods then placed on top. The second coil is then placed over the goods. The goods sink into the lower cushion, and when the lid is closed, they press into the top cushion. Result: all-round protection..

PAPERplus® Chevron
paper padding:
In-The-Box applications
Only a small amount of PAPERplus® Chevron paper padding is required to fill the void in a package. This coverage result from the large volume formed by the pleated paper tube. The cushioning effect of the pleated tube provides excellent padding even for medium-weight products. The strip of padding can be flexible and effortlessly shaped for different packing techniques. Perforations every 7 cm allow easy separation with no need to cut. Air and paper – a clever combination for lightweight protective packaging.
The protective function of the PAPERplus® Chevron paper padding is VOID-FILL

PAPERplus® Shooter
paper padding:
In-The-Box applications
PAPERplus® Shooter paper padding is a protective packaging solution for void filling above packaged goods (Top-Fill). A high machine speed results in the flat cushioning strip almost automatically spreading itself over the goods (see below). The multi-ply filling material is produced from single-ply paper by folding and creasing. The cushioning effect is suitable for light weight products.
The protective function of the PAPERplus® Shooter paper padding is VOID-FILL.

PAPERplus® Papillon
paper padding:
In-The-Box applications
The unique shape of the pad is patented. The pads are lightweight and offer good spring effect. They can either be used for filling voids or for wrapping shipping goods. They adjust quickly to the products in the package, therefore ensuring reliable protection of the goods. Moreover, the pads offer a pleasant unboxing experience to the end-customer.

The protective function of the PAPERplus® Classic paper padding is BLOCK & BRACE.
To brace a product, the remaining void can be filled with paper padding to the side of, or above, the packaged goods. Alternatively, two strips of padding are placed diagonally into the box on top of each other. The goods are placed on top and the ends of the strips are then folded over.

Fast, efficient production as needed.
PAPERplus® machines from Storopack provide the versatility that makes them easy to integrate into any packaging environment. With options such as single and double packing tables, vertical and horizontal machine designs, and tabletop or floor models, PAPERplus® offers maximum efficiencies for space and production capacity.
It depends on the right paper system.
PAPERplus® Classic offers the most versatile functions of any in-the-box paper packaging product. Choose from two versions of the PAPERplus® Classic machines and a variety of paper ranges that provide paper pads for different packing situations depending on space and production capacity. Our standard machine model produces slightly bulkier paper mattresses that work well in larger boxes. PAPERplus® GE, the optimised GE machine model uses smaller paper rolls to produce pads that allow easier handling for packaging in small and medium size boxes. This smaller pad meets the economic needs of today´s smaller carton shipper.
PAPERplus® Chevron is the smartest packing filler ever created. Using our patented pleating technique, Chevron combines paper and air to form a very lightweight and flexible 10 centimetre tubes that gives you maximum fill with less paper. You’ll use fewer packing materials and your packages will be lighter, saving you money in two critical areas.
With lightening speed, the PAPERplus® Shooter boosts packing production by combining high-speed equipment with a unique pulling system that unwinds paper from the inside of the roll. As the paper passes through the machine it is shaped and formed into a pad which is cut off to the selected length. This system automatically creates multi-layer void-fill from one-ply paper and eliminates slow manual folding and crumpling to save you time and material costs.
The PAPERplus® Papillon is extremely versatile and features three different operating modes: Automatic, On-Demand and Foot. Multiple positions allow for easy integration into existing Top Fill packaging processes: Floor, Table Top and Table Stand. The machine will generally be used as a “stand-alone” unit, but it can also be used in conjunction with silo and conveying systems to serve multiple packing stations.
